Bujua vs Loom

Loom made async video normal. Bujua does the same core job, recording in the browser, sharing a link, seeing who watched, at a lower price per recorder and with AI features on every plan.

The short answer

Both tools record your screen and camera, share a link instantly and show who watched. Loom has a desktop app, 4K recording on Business and a long list of integrations. Bujua costs less per person who records ($8 against Loom's $18 a month, or $49 flat for up to 10), and includes transcripts, AI summaries and chapters on every plan, where Loom puts AI on its $24 Business + AI tier.

Switching from Loom

Most teams are done in an afternoon. You can run both side by side while people get used to it.

  1. Download your videos from Loom. Loom lets you download each video from its share page or library.
  2. Upload them to Bujua. Drag in many files at once, or paste a direct file link. Titles come from the file names; transcripts and summaries are generated for you.
  3. Invite the people who record as creators. Everyone else joins as a free viewer, or just keeps using links.
  4. Share new videos from Bujua. Old links keep working where they are until you retire them.
