Recording your first video

1. Click New recording in the sidebar, or press Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on a Mac) and choose it from the menu.
2. Choose what to record: Screen and camera, Screen only or Camera only.
3. Pick your camera and microphone. Talk for a second and check the level bar moves.
4. Press Start recording. For screen recordings your browser asks what to share: a tab, a window or the entire screen.
5. After a three second countdown you’re recording. Use Pause as often as you like.
6. Press Stop and copy link. The link is on your clipboard and works straight away, because the video uploaded while you talked.

Paste the link anywhere. People who open it don’t need an account.

Trying it without an account

You can record from the free screen recorder without signing up. Guest recordings are limited to 5 minutes, 10 videos per browser, and are kept for 30 days. Sign up on the same device and they move into your library automatically.
